Agkilam Organic Farms Llp is based out of Moggapair West, specifically at 27A/82 on Vallalar Street. This part of Chennai has changed a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed put here. Our daily life involves a lot of dirt, seeds, and checking on how things are growing. It’s a bit of a squeeze being in a city area like 600037, but we make it work. We aren't a big corporation with suit-wearing executives. It’s mostly just a few of us wearing boots and getting our hands dirty. The street can get a bit noisy with traffic, but inside our space, we focus on the organic side of things. We grow what we can and manage the farm operations from this address. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a receptionist or a glossy brochure. If someone comes by, they usually find us in the middle of a task. The weather in Chennai is usually hot, so we start early to beat the sun. Working with organic stuff means things don't always look perfect, but they are real. We like the fact that we can do this right in the middle of a busy neighborhood. It keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we even work Sundays if the plants need it. It’s just how it is when you’re dealing with living things and wanting to get them right for the people who ask for them.
