Our location is a bit hard to find if you aren't from around here. We are on an unnamed road in Chirya, not far from Kavina Road. It’s a quiet area, away from the main town bustle. The road leading up to us is a bit bumpy, so you have to drive slowly. We work out of a functional building that serves as our main base for the cement operations. It’s surrounded by a lot of greenery and open land. The office itself is quite basic. We have a few desks, a couple of filing cabinets that have been here forever, and a small area where we keep our boots. It’s mostly just us and the drivers coming through. We don’t get a lot of walk-in traffic. The days are usually filled with the sound of the wind and the occasional truck engine. We keep things pretty informal. If there is a problem, we just talk it out over a cup of tea. It’s not a high-pressure environment in the way city offices are, but we still have plenty to do. The light in the evenings is actually quite nice over the fields. We’ve all worked together for a while now, so it feels more like a family than a business. We just take each day as it comes and try to stay on top of the orders. It’s a simple setup but it works for us.
