Deroi Agri Horti 1 No. Hologuri Tourism Producer Company Limited is based over at Phulendra Mohan’s place in 1 No. Hologuri. It’s a bit of a mouthful of a name, but we just call it the farm group around here. We work on a mix of things, mostly agricultural and horticultural stuff, but we also look into the tourism side of things because our area is quite nice to look at. Living and working in Hologuri means we are always surrounded by green. We spend most of our time out in the fields or looking after the plants. It’s a collective effort, so there are always a few of us hanging around Phulendra’s talking about the next harvest or how the weather might affect the crops. We don't have a big fancy office, just the workspace we use every day. Tourism is something we are trying to get right, showing people how we live and what we grow. It’s quiet work for the most part. Sometimes tourists come by and we show them around the 1 No. Hologuri area. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just grow our plants and keep the place looking decent. It takes a lot of manual labor and sometimes the tools break or the rain stays away too long. But we just keep at it because that’s what we do here. It’s a simple life with a lot of chores.
