Hindustan Computers Ltd.

We are over in the I. D. L. area of Bengaluru, which is a bit of an industrial part of the city. Hindustan Computers Ltd. has been around this neighborhood for a good while. The surroundings are mostly other businesses and factories, so there is always a sense of people working hard nearby. Our office is a practical space where we spend most of the day looking at screens and trying to solve technical problems. It isn't the kind of place with modern art on the walls or expensive furniture. We have rows of desks and plenty of cables everywhere. The team is mostly local people who commute in every morning, dealing with the usual Bengaluru traffic. We don't do much in terms of flashy advertising because we prefer to just let the work speak for itself. Lunch breaks are usually spent at the small stalls nearby or just eating at the desk while finishing up a task. It gets quite busy during certain months when there is a lot of demand for what we do. The air carries the sound of the city and the occasional hum of the machines in the background. We have seen the I. D. L. area change quite a bit over the years, with new buildings popping up, but we just keep doing our thing. It is a straightforward operation here and we like the simple routine of the city.
