Dezire Creations

Dezire Creations is on the first floor of the Devaswom Building in Pallickathodu. Specifically, we are in Anickadu. It’s a good location because it’s easy for people to find once they get to the building. Being on the first floor means we don’t have too many stairs to deal with every day. We’ve spent a lot of time getting this space looking right. It’s not a fancy showroom, it’s just where we do the work. The walls are a bit plain, but we have our equipment and that’s what matters. Pallickathodu is a quiet place mostly, which helps us focus on what we are doing. We started this because we had an interest in creating things and wanted a place to call our own. We don't have a boss in another city telling us what to do. It’s just us making the decisions. Sometimes we make mistakes, but we just fix them and move on. That’s how you learn, right? We have a kettle in the corner for making tea, which is probably the most used thing in the office besides the computers. We don't have a big mission statement written on the wall. We just want to get through our tasks and do a decent job for whoever needs us. It’s a small, practical way to make a living. Most days we are here from early morning until the shops nearby start closing their shutters for the night.
