Tushya General Store

Being in the Grain Market of Sector 26 means we are surrounded by a lot of heavy lifting and big trucks. Tushya General Store is a small spot amidst all that wholesale chaos. While the big traders deal in tons of grain, we handle the smaller stuff that people actually need day-to-day. We have rows of snacks, cigarettes, cold water, and basic groceries like sugar and salt. The air in Sector 26 is often filled with the smell of dry hay and dust from the grain sacks. We open up quite early because the market starts moving before the sun is even fully up. Truck drivers stop by for a quick soda or a packet of biscuits before they head back out on the road. The shop floor is always a bit dusty, no matter how much we sweep it. We don't have a computer or fancy scanners; we just know the prices by heart. Sometimes we sit on plastic chairs outside the door when it’s slow, watching the tractors go by. It’s a rough and ready kind of place. We don't have any shiny displays, just metal racks that have seen a lot of use. People come to us because we’re right there when they need something quick. We’ve become a small part of the furniture here in the Grain Market. It’s a busy, noisy life, but we like being in the middle of it all, serving the local workers.
