Suresh Provision & General Store

Suresh Provision & General Store is a small booth, number 126, over in Sector 37. Being in a booth means we don't have a lot of room to move around, so every inch of the walls is covered with shelves. We have to be really smart about how we stack the flour, sugar, and all the snacks. It can get a bit tight when we have two people working behind the counter at the same time. Most of our customers are folks living nearby who just need to grab one or two things for dinner. We have a little fridge for cold drinks which hums quite loudly all day long. In the afternoons, it can get pretty quiet, so we usually sit outside on a small wooden bench just to get some fresh air. The market area around Booth 126 is usually buzzing with activity in the evenings when everyone gets off work. We see a lot of the same faces every day, which makes the work feel more like being part of a community. Sometimes we run out of something popular and have to tell people to come back tomorrow, which is just part of running a small shop. We don’t have a big staff or anything, just us making sure the shelves are full and the customers get what they came for. It’s a steady routine that we’ve been following for years now and we like it that way.
