Sunil & Company is located at Sco. No. 58 in Sector-26, right on Madhya Marg. Being on the main road means we see a lot of people passing by every single day. The SCO buildings are all pretty similar, so you have to look for our number above the door. We’ve been here for several years now. It’s a decent-sized space, though we’ve managed to fill it up with all sorts of things over time. The morning routine is always the same. We open up the shutters, sweep the front, and get the kettle going for tea. Chandigarh is a bit more organized than other cities, but Sector-26 still gets quite lively, especially with the grain market nearby. We don't have a big corporate hierarchy here. Everyone just chips in with whatever needs doing. If the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or advertisements. Most of our work comes from people who have been coming to us for a long time. It’s a friendly enough place, though we can get a bit stressed when multiple things go wrong at once. The weather really dictates the mood in the office—cold in the winters and very hot in the summers. We just keep the fans or the small heater going and carry on with our tasks until it’s time to go home. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to keep the business running smoothly.
