We are over in Sector 15 at SCO 17, and honestly, we’ve been here long enough that most people around the neighborhood know where to find us. It is just a basic store where we keep the essentials that folks need for their homes every day. You won't find anything too flashy here, just rows of shelves packed with regular stuff like lentils, soaps, and snacks. We open up pretty early in the morning because that’s when the milk delivery comes and people start heading to work. Usually, it's just us behind the counter handling the change and bagging things up. Some days are quite slow, and we just sit and watch the traffic go by outside the window, while other times it gets so crowded we can barely keep up with the weighing. We don't really do any big advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here at this spot. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes the boxes pile up in the corner when a new shipment arrives and we haven't had time to put everything away yet. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy bags and making sure the stock doesn't run out. We just want to make sure if a neighbor walks in looking for something specific, it’s actually there on the shelf waiting for them. It’s a simple way to make a living, really.
