Penguin Impex

Penguin Impex is based at 1042 Phase Iv. It’s a pretty standard industrial block, and we’ve been here for a while now. The building is solid, but it’s seen better days. We don’t really care about the outside though; it’s what’s inside that counts for us. We handle import and export stuff, so there are always boxes and crates being shifted around. Some days it feels like we’re running out of space, and other days it’s quiet. We don't have a big marketing budget or a team of experts. It’s just a few of us who know the ropes of the shipping world. We spend a lot of time checking lists and making sure the labels are correct. It’s not glamorous work. There’s no fancy coffee machine or lounge area. We just have a small kettle and some biscuits for when we take a break. The phone rings a lot, and someone is usually arguing with a delivery driver about a late pickup. That’s just part of the job. We try to be direct with the people we work with. If a shipment is going to be late, we tell them. We don't like making excuses. Phase Iv is a busy place to be, and there’s always something going on nearby. We just keep to ourselves mostly and focus on getting our work done so we can go home to our families. It’s a basic setup, but it works for us.
