Pandit Jatinder Sharma

I’m based out of Banglappa Garden, right on Lakshmi Road at the 7th Cross. It’s a part of the Mohali area that stays pretty busy throughout the day. My setup is very basic. I have a small room where I keep my spiritual books and the items I need for various ceremonies. There isn’t much in the way of decoration, just the essentials. I’ve always preferred it that way because it keeps the focus on the work. People from around the neighborhood know the address and they usually just walk over when they need something. I don’t spend money on advertising or anything like that. Word of mouth has always been enough for me. The street outside is always full of life, with vendors and people going to work. Sometimes I sit by the window and just watch the world go by between appointments. It’s a humble way to make a living, but it’s what I know. I’ve been doing this since I was a young man, following in the footsteps of those before me. Every day is a bit different depending on who comes through the door. I don’t try to sound like an expert; I just share what I’ve learned over the years. Banglappa Garden is a good place to be, and I’m glad to have my little spot here on Lakshmi Road. It suits me just fine. I plan to stay here as long as I can.
