At B K Shastri Astrology Centre, we’ve been working out of Sector 35 for quite a while now. The address is 2283, and it’s a pretty simple setup we’ve got here. It’s basically just a room where people come in to sit down and talk about what’s on their mind or what the stars are doing. I don’t go in for all those fancy decorations you see at some of the bigger centers. I think a desk and a couple of comfortable chairs are all you really need for this kind of work. The neighborhood is usually quiet, which helps when I’m trying to focus on someone’s chart. Sometimes I get stuck on a tricky calculation and the afternoon just slips away from me. I’ve lived in this area for years, so I know a lot of the people who walk by. The office has a lot of old books and papers stacked up, and I know where everything is, even if it looks like a bit of a mess to someone else. It’s just me here most of the time, and that suits the work well. We don’t make any big promises or anything, we just look at the numbers and the positions of the planets and say what we see. It’s a practical way to spend the day, and we’ve been doing it like this for as long as I can remember. The tea gets cold sometimes, but that is part of it.
