Our office is actually just a house, House No. 202, over in Sector 44-A in Chandigarh. It feels a bit more like a home than a regular workplace, which is actually quite nice most of the time. We run the Naukriguru.Com job site from here, so it is a lot of sitting in front of monitors and typing away. Chandigarh is a planned city, so things are usually a bit more orderly outside than in other places, but inside the office, it can get a bit chaotic with all the tasks we have going on. We do not have any big signs or flashy lights, just a quiet place where we get the work done. Usually, the day starts with checking the latest job postings and making sure the website is running like it should. We are not a massive team, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, whether it is answering a query or fixing a bug on the site. The backyard is a good spot for a quick break when the weather is decent. We have been operating out of this house for a while and it suits us just fine. We do not have fancy boardrooms or anything like that; we just use the main table for our catch-ups. It is a very straightforward way to run a business, and we prefer it that way. No one wears suits here, just regular clothes and a focus on the daily to-do list. The neighbors do not mind us much.
