Mackem Pharmaceuticals Private Limited

Mackem Pharmaceuticals is located over at Plot 191 in the Industrial Area, Phase 2, right here in Chandigarh. We are up on the first floor. Working in an industrial area means things are pretty loud and dusty most of the time, but it's the right place for a pharma business. We spend most of our mornings checking the inventory and talking to suppliers. The stairs to the first floor are a bit steep, so we get our exercise in. Phase 2 is always crowded with trucks and people moving crates around. It’s a lot of work. We handle the distribution side of things mostly. It’s not glamorous at all. There are days when the power goes out or the internet is slow, but we just keep going. My desk is usually covered in papers and sample packs. We’ve been at this location for a while now and we know the neighbors well. It's a community of small businesses all trying to get through the day. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. People know where we are if they need us. Plot 191 is a solid spot, even if the building is old. We focus on getting the medicines where they need to go. That's the main thing. It’s a long day usually, starting early and leaving when the sun is down. Just simple, honest work in the heart of Chandigarh’s industrial zone.
