Romila Chemist

Romila Chemist is our pharmacy situated in Sector 8 Sakinaka, at address 122/23. It’s a fairly small shop, but we try to keep the shelves stocked with whatever the local residents might need. We have rows of medicines, some baby products, and the usual first aid supplies. Sakinaka is a crowded area, so we see a lot of different people every day. Some just want a packet of biscuits or a bottle of water, while others come in with long prescriptions from the hospital. It takes a lot of time to organize everything and make sure we don't have anything that’s past its date. The lights are bright inside, which makes a big contrast to the dusty street outside. We don't have any fancy displays or expensive advertising. Most of our customers are people who live in the apartments nearby and have been coming to us for years. We know their names and what they usually need. Sometimes the suppliers are late with the deliveries, and we have to tell people to come back tomorrow, which isn't ideal but that's life. We spend the day standing behind the wooden counter, answering questions and counting out tablets. It is a steady job in a busy part of Sector 8. We just try to keep things organized and help out the folks who walk through the door with their health concerns. It’s just us doing our part for the neighborhood.
