Kotak Direct A Division Of Kotak Securities

Our office is over in Section 48C at Star Enclave here in Chandigarh. It’s a nice enough area, a bit quieter than the main city center which is good for focusing on what we do. We handle things for Kotak Direct, specifically the securities side of things. Most of the day is spent looking at screens and talking to people about their accounts. Chandigarh is planned so well that finding us at 2263 isn’t too hard for most folks. We’ve been set up in this spot for a while now. It’s not a huge place, just enough room for the team and the equipment we need to keep track of everything. Sometimes the weather gets really intense, but the office stays fairly cool. We see people from all over the sector. We don’t go for anything too flashy here. It’s about the work. We spend a lot of time on the phone or answering emails. People come in when they need something explained or if they have paperwork to drop off. It feels like a standard part of the community. We try to keep things simple. No one likes complicated processes, so we just get straight to the point. Usually, things are pretty steady, though some days are faster than others depending on what’s happening in the markets. We just take it as it comes and try to stay helpful for everyone who visits. It’s just how we operate day in and day out for the people in the city.
