Kalha Enviro Group

The office here at Sco 54/55 in Sector 9-D is where most of us spend our time. Kalha Enviro Group is about managing environmental stuff, which sounds complicated but mostly involves site visits and reports. Sector 9-D is a decent area, and we have a few shops nearby where we usually grab tea in the afternoon. Inside the office, it is mostly computers and stacks of files about different projects we are currently handling. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we get things done. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it is quiet enough to hear the fan spinning. We deal with a lot of regulations and making sure everything is up to code for the various sites we look after. It takes a lot of patience to go through all the details. My colleagues are mostly local folks who know the area well. We often talk about the traffic on the way in or what’s happening in the neighborhood. It’s a practical kind of job. We aren't trying to change the whole world overnight, just doing our part with the waste and water issues that come our way. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep, so that's our exercise for the day. It’s a steady place to work, and we just keep moving forward with the work we have on hand. It gets a bit dusty with all the papers, but we manage just fine.
