Jain Hardware

Our shop, Jain Hardware, is located over in Sector-26, right near the Gurudwara. If you are heading that way, you really can’t miss the area. It’s a pretty quiet spot compared to some of the bigger markets, which we actually like. Inside, the place is packed with all sorts of things like nuts, bolts, hammers, and plumbing parts. It might look a bit disorganized to someone walking in for the first time, but we usually know where everything is tucked away. The smell of metal and oil is always there, which is what you expect from a hardware shop. We spend a lot of our day just sorting through bins of small parts or helping someone figure out which size washer they need for a leaky tap. It is mostly local folks from around Sector-26 who come by. They stop in on their way back from the Gurudwara or when they are out doing their daily chores. We don't have any big displays or bright lights. It is just a regular shop with basic wooden counters where we count out change and wrap up tools in old newspapers. Some days are slow and we just chat with the regulars who drop in for a bit of talk. Other days, it’s a bit of a rush with people needing stuff for quick repairs at home. We’ve been at this address for a long time and the building is starting to show its age, but it is home to us.
