Crown Industries

Crown Industries is located at Plot No-356 in the Industrial Area, Phase-I. We are right near the Bhushan Factory, which is a big landmark around here. Our place is more of a workshop than anything else. We have various machines running most of the day, making different parts. It gets pretty loud in here, so you usually have to shout to be heard over the grinders. The walls are stained with oil and there are metal shavings everywhere, but that’s just how an industrial unit looks when it’s actually being used. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk in and find someone at a workbench. We deal with various manufacturing tasks and take on work as it comes in. Some weeks are quiet and we catch up on maintenance, and other weeks we are working late to finish an order. The traffic in Phase-I can be a headache during shift changes, but we are used to it by now. We started small and we’ve stayed about the same size, which is fine for us. It is just a handful of guys who know their way around the machinery. We don't spend time on marketing or anything like that; we just focus on the metal in front of us. It’s a practical way to earn a living and we’ve been doing it at this plot for quite some time now.
