Our place is at Sector 20 in Chandigarh, specifically in the main market area at Scf 114. It’s on the second floor, so you have to walk up the stairs which can be a bit tiring after a long day. We are right near Nik Bakers, which is a big help when people are trying to find the building for the first time. The market is usually very crowded, and finding a parking spot can be a real challenge sometimes. Inside, the rooms are pretty basic with just enough chairs and desks for the students who come by. It’s not a very fancy setup, just some plain walls and whiteboards. We have some fans that keep the air moving during the hot summer months in Chandigarh. You can often hear the noise from the shops downstairs and the people walking around the market. It’s a very lively area to be in. We keep a few books on the shelves and there’s a small desk where we handle all the paperwork. Sometimes the light in the hallway doesn’t work, so it can be a bit dark in the evenings. We’ve been here for a while and we’re used to the rhythm of the market. It’s a good, central spot and most people know the building. We don’t really bother with much decoration. It’s just a simple space where we spend most of our waking hours. That’s pretty much how it is here.
