English Grammar Classes

Down in Sector 14, we have this small space for English Grammar Classes. It’s nothing too complicated. We focus on the basics because that’s what most people seem to struggle with. I’ve lived in this area for years, so setting up here made sense. The room is usually filled with the sound of people repeating sentences or scratching their pens on notebooks. Grammar isn't the most exciting thing in the world, I know that, but it's important for getting ahead. We try to make it as painless as possible. There’s no big reception desk or anything. You just come in and find a seat. I usually have a pot of water in the corner if anyone gets thirsty. It’s a very local thing. Most of the people who come here live just a few blocks away. Sometimes we get someone from further out in the sector. I don't really do much advertising; people just hear about us from their neighbors or friends. The schedule changes a bit depending on when people are free, but we’re usually there most weekdays. It’s a bit of a routine now. I open up the shutters, wipe down the desks, and wait for the first person to arrive. It’s a quiet life but it’s honest work. We don't promise miracles, just a bit of steady improvement if you put in the time and do the exercises. It is just what we do every day.
