Our office is up on the top floor at 2529 in Sector 22C. Being in Chandigarh is nice because the city is so well-planned, though getting heavy boxes up to the top floor can be a bit of a workout if the lift is being finicky that day. We have a decent view from up here, but mostly we are just looking at our monitors. We do a lot of system work. It is the kind of stuff that is invisible when it works and very obvious when it doesn't. We try to make sure things stay in the first category. The team here is pretty small. We’ve all been working together for a bit, so we don't need a lot of rules or formal processes to get things done. We just talk to each other across the room. It’s not a fancy corporate environment at all. There are no glass walls or designer chairs. We have sturdy desks and decent coffee. Most of our day is spent troubleshooting or setting up new configurations for people. We don’t go in for big speeches or polished slogans. We just tell it like it is. If we can't fix something right away, we explain why it's taking longer. People in Sector 22C seem to appreciate that kind of honesty. It is a good spot and we like being part of the local scene here. We’re just regular folks doing a technical job as best as we can. We've been here a while and plan to stay for a good bit longer.
