Harpreet General Store & Confectioners

It is just me and my brother most days here at the shop in Sector 22. We start early, usually around seven, getting the crates inside and making sure the milk is cold. The shelves stay pretty packed with everything people need for their kitchens, and then we have the sweets and chocolates on the other side. Some people have been coming to Harpreet General Store & Confectioners for ten years now, so we know what they want before they even ask for it. It gets a bit crowded in the evenings when everyone is getting home from work and realizes they forgot sugar or soap. We don't have a big team or anything fancy, just a few of us making sure the inventory stays full and the counters stay clean. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late and it gets stressful, but that is just how it goes with a general store. We try to keep the biscuits and chips updated because the kids in the neighborhood are always looking for the new stuff. Dealing with change is part of the job, I guess. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the neighbors while we bag their groceries. It is a long day, often ending late at night after we pull the shutters down, but it keeps us busy. There isn't much to say other than we are just here every day in the same spot, doing what we do.
