Chandigarh Hydraulics Company

We’ve been at Plot No. 152 in the Phase-2 Industrial Area for a good while now. Chandigarh Hydraulics Company isn’t a fancy place with glass walls or anything like that. It’s mostly just us working with pipes, seals, and those heavy hydraulic jacks that come in for repair. The floor is usually a bit oily because that’s just how it goes when you’re dealing with fluid systems all day long. Outside, the street is always busy with trucks backing in and out of the units nearby. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, but we just sweep it out and keep going. Most of our morning is spent looking at diagrams or checking the pressure on a pump that someone dropped off. We have a small desk where the paperwork sits, mostly bills and old notebooks with measurements scribbled in the margins. It gets hot in the afternoons during the summer, so the fan is always running at full speed. We know the neighbors at the other plots, and we usually see them when we step out for a quick break at the corner stall. It’s a lot of manual work, getting your hands dirty and making sure the threads on a bolt are just right before you tighten it down for good. We don't have a big marketing team, just a few of us here making sure the parts work like they should. It’s plain and simple work, really, and we like it that way.
