Our shop is at 117 in Phase-II of the industrial area. It is right across from the ESI Hospital which makes it easy to tell people how to find us. The hospital is always busy so there is a lot of traffic and people moving around outside our gates. Inside things are usually a bit oily and metallic. That is just the nature of engineering work. We have some heavy equipment that takes up most of the floor space. It is a bit noisy when everything is running but we are used to it. The office part is just a small room in the corner where we keep the records and handle the calls. It is not a place for fancy meetings. We mostly talk over the sound of the machines. The guys on the floor have been with us for a long time. We know each other’s habits. Lunch usually involves sitting around on whatever is available and sharing food brought from home. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but we are more interested in keeping the machines maintained. It is a straightforward operation. We do not have a big marketing department or anything. We just take the jobs as they come in and make sure the parts are right. It is a busy and loud place but it is where we spend our days. We just get on with the work that needs to be done.
