Our place is at number 58 in the Industrial Area, Phase-1. It’s a standard spot in a part of town that’s been dedicated to engineering and manufacturing for a long time. At Kay Dee Engineers, we don't have much use for a front desk or a receptionist. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll find one of us near a machine or checking on some parts in the back. The floors are concrete and have some stains from the oil and cooling fluids we use. It’s an environment where work is the priority. We’ve been in Phase-1 for a while, so we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the industrial area—the morning rush of workers, the lunch hour when everyone heads to the small dhabas, and the sound of machinery that never really stops. We deal with engineering components, so everything is about measurements and making sure the metal is cut or shaped just right. Sometimes things go wrong, a machine breaks down or a shipment is late, and we just deal with it as it comes. We aren't a big corporation with many layers; we’re just a small team of people who know how to handle tools and metal. It’s a bit of a rough-and-ready setup, but it works for what we do. We like the honesty of working with our hands and seeing a finished product at the end of the day.
