Budhiraja General Store

Budhiraja General Store is right here in Sector 33 at 31/32. It’s your basic neighborhood shop where we try to keep a bit of everything on the shelves. From soap to snacks, we usually have what people are looking for when they run out of things at home. The aisles are a bit narrow because we try to fit as much as possible into the space we have. It gets pretty crowded in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work. We know most of the people who walk through the door by name. It’s not a fancy supermarket with bright lights and scanners that beep every second. We still do a lot of things the old way. Sometimes the delivery truck blocks the street for a few minutes, and the neighbors complain, but we try to be quick. The floor is a bit worn down from all the foot traffic over the years. We have a small TV behind the counter that’s usually on a news channel or a cricket match. It’s a simple life running a store like this. We don’t have any grand plans to expand or change things much. We just want to make sure the milk is fresh and the shelves aren't empty. It’s a steady job and we enjoy being a part of the daily routine here in Sector 33. We have been here for years and hope to stay.
