If you go over toward Sector 37 D, near the Stepping Stones Senior Secondary School, you’ll find Birdi Bricks Manufacturer. Our office is at number 3196. It’s a busy spot with kids going to school and people moving about. We’ve been operating from here for a good few years. Dealing with bricks is a messy business, but we keep our office here to handle the orders and the paperwork so we can stay organized. Most people know us because of the location near the school. We aren’t a big company with a huge marketing budget. It’s mostly just a few of us making sure that the supply meets the demand for all the construction happening in the area. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to actually get some cleaning done. We don't have any polished sales pitches or anything like that. Usually, people just ask for a quote and we tell them what the current rate is based on the load size. It's a very practical way to run things. We’ve built a reputation around here just by being present and doing what we said we’d do. The office isn't anything fancy, just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of samples of the different brick types we handle. We’re just local people helping other local people build their stuff. It’s a straightforward life for us. We just keep the stacks moving.
