Bansal Provisions Store

You can find Bansal Provisions Store at Shop Number 1962 in the Dera Shaib area of Mani Majra. We are right across from the old Mani Majra Fort which is a nice landmark to look at when we are standing out front. The shop is always packed with crates and boxes because we try to keep a little bit of everything in stock for the local families. It gets very busy in the evenings when people are heading home and need to pick up stuff for dinner. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling and sometimes we have to use a rickety ladder to get things down for customers. The floor is concrete and has some cracks in it but it holds up well enough. Being opposite the fort means there are always tourists or locals hanging around the area which keeps things interesting. We don't spend money on advertising because everyone in Mani Majra knows where we are. We just focus on keeping the shelves full of soap, flour, sugar, and whatever else is in demand. The fans hum all day long to keep the heat away from the perishable goods. It is a lot of hard work lifting heavy sacks and standing on our feet for ten hours a day but it is what we do. We just keep the shop running and try to stay organized in the middle of all the daily chaos.
