Astra Agro Foods (P) Ltd.

Our facility is at C-26 in Phase-2 of the Industrial Area in Sas Nagar, Mohali. It’s a busy spot with lots of other factories and units all around us. We work with agro foods, which basically means we spend our time dealing with what comes off the farms. The building is a typical industrial shed, nothing fancy or modern about the outside. Inside, it’s mostly machinery and people in hairnets trying to keep everything clean and moving. Mohali is a good place for this kind of work because the transport links are decent, though the roads in the industrial area can be a bit rough after the rains. We’ve been operating out of this unit for several years. It’s a lot of hard work, especially during the peak seasons when the crops come in. There’s always the sound of machines running in the background and the smell of whatever we’re processing that day. We don’t have a big corporate office with a receptionist. Usually, if you come by, you’ll just find one of us near the loading dock or checking the production line. It’s a straightforward business. We just focus on getting the food processed and packed so it can go where it needs to go. We’re just regular people trying to run a solid operation in the middle of Phase-2. It’s not always easy, but it’s what we know how to do best.
