Surender Bhardwaj Agro Herbs (Opc)Private Limited

My name is Surender Bhardwaj and I run this small herbs business from my home in V.P.O. Khaniyara. If you look for House No- 48/1 in Ward No-3, that is where I am usually working. It is an OPC, which just means I am the one person handling most of the daily tasks. I grew up around these hills and always had an interest in the local plants and herbs that grow in our area. After a while, I thought it would be a good idea to make it a real company, so I registered it as Surender Bhardwaj Agro Herbs (Opc) Private Limited. It is not some big factory. It is mostly just me and a bit of help from neighbors when things get busy during harvest time. The mountain air here in Khaniyara is good for the herbs, but the weather can be tricky. Sometimes the snow stays too long or the rain washes out the small paths near the house. I spend my mornings checking on the plants and the rest of the day dealing with the drying and packing. It is a slow process and I don't like to rush it because the quality matters more than how much I can sell. My neighbors know me well and often stop by to see how the crop is doing. It is a simple life and I am glad to be working for myself right here at home.
