Talwar Studio

We have been here at 228 Kamla Market for quite a long time now. Most people know us because we are right opposite the police station, which makes it easy to find even when the market is packed. Talwar Studio started as a small family thing many years back. We handle all sorts of photo work, from quick passports to the bigger wedding albums that families want. It gets pretty crowded in the market on the weekends, but we keep the shop open anyway. Sometimes the lights flicker when the main line has issues, but we manage to get the work done. We aren't doing anything fancy with high-tech AI stuff or massive digital studios. It is just honest photography and printing. My father used to sit here in this same chair before me, and now I handle the cameras and the customers. People often come in for urgent copies, and we try to get them done while they wait outside or grab a tea nearby. The studio isn't huge, but it fits all the equipment and a few chairs for guests. We don't have a big website or a social media manager. Most of our work comes from people walking by or neighbors who have known us for years. If you need a photo for a form or want some old pictures cleaned up, we do that too. It’s just us working here every day except for some holidays. The market noise is always there, but you get used to it after a while.
