Street Medications is right in the middle of the chaos at 52 Nehru Place. If you’ve ever been to Nehru Place, you know it’s a madhouse of people and technology. We are just one small part of that. Our space isn't very big, so we have to be really smart about how we stack things. It feels like a giant game of Tetris most days. There is always a hum of activity outside our door. Sometimes it’s hard to hear yourself think. We don't have any polished marketing materials or a slick website. We just have our stock and our ledgers. The floor is a bit worn out from all the boots walking over it. We don't mind it, though. It shows we’re working. Most of our day is spent dealing with the logistics of getting things in and out of such a crowded area. Traffic is a nightmare, so we have to plan everything carefully. We usually eat lunch at our desks while we check the inventory lists. It’s a fast-paced environment and you have to keep up or you’ll get overwhelmed. We aren't trying to be anything fancy. We’re just a local business trying to keep things organized in a very disorganized part of the city. It’s tiring but we’re used to it by now. The tea vendor downstairs knows exactly how we like our morning chai, which is the highlight of the day.
