Hindustan Drug House

Down on Joshi Road in Karol Bagh, you'll find Hindustan Drug House. If you know this part of Delhi, you know how crowded it gets with all the shops and people. Our place is at 867/8, and we have been operating out of here for years. We deal with various medicines and health supplies. The shelves are packed pretty tight from floor to ceiling. It can be a bit of a maze inside if you don't know where things are kept. We spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure everything is dated correctly. It isn't a glamorous job, but people need their supplies, so we stay busy. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time getting through the narrow lanes around here. We have to coordinate carefully so we don't block the whole road. The office is small and usually has a lot of files piled up. We use old fans to keep the air moving because it gets stuffy in the summer months. Our neighbors are mostly other small businesses, so we all know each other. We don't do much advertising or anything like that. Most people find us because they have been coming here for a long time or someone told them where we are. It is just a regular day-to-day operation. We focus on getting the orders right and keeping the stock moving out to the clinics and pharmacies. We have a small crew that has been with us for a long time.
