About Shree Jeewan Hospital – Medical & Healthcare in Central Delhi
The building at 67/1 on New Rohtak Road is where we spend most of our days. Shree Jeewan Hospital is right in the thick of things. It’s a noisy stretch of road, and there’s always dust in the air from the cars and buses going by. We have been here for a long time, and the building shows its age in some spots, like the marks on the floor from moving heavy equipment around. We don't have a lot of frills here. The lobby has those heavy metal chairs that are tough but not exactly soft to sit on for hours. We try to keep the fans going at full speed because it gets stuffy when there are a lot of people waiting. The nurses and the desk staff are always moving back and forth between the rooms. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s an honest one. We deal with whatever comes through the door, from small scrapes to bigger health problems. There is a tea stall just a few doors down where we usually get our afternoon snacks from when things quiet down for a minute. The lighting inside is that bright white fluorescent kind that makes everything look very sharp and clear. It’s a lot of work keeping a hospital running on such a busy road, but we just take it one patient at a time and keep moving.
