Hari Singh Nalwa Street is a busy place, and our shop at 25/1480 is right in the thick of it. Shanta Automotive has been here for a while. Most mornings, we start by moving a few boxes out of the way just to open the door. It’s a bit cramped inside, honestly, with parts stacked up to the ceiling. We’ve been here in Karol Bagh for quite some time, and you get used to the constant honking outside. It isn’t some showroom with glass walls; it’s more of a place where you come when you need a specific part and don’t mind a little dust. Usually, there’s a tea stall guy coming by around eleven, and that’s when we take a breather. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but there’s never really a quiet moment to get it done. We spend a lot of time looking through old ledgers and checking what came in on the last truck. It’s just how we run things. People find us because they know we’re here at this spot. We don't do much fancy talk. If we have what you need, we tell you. If we don’t, we might know who does. It’s a simple way to spend the day, really. Sometimes the lights flicker when the neighbor turns on his heavy machinery, but we just keep working. It feels right being a part of this street.
