Patel Pharmacy

Patel Pharmacy is located at U-158 in the Patel Hospital building on Main Vikas Marg. We’re really close to the Laxmi Nagar Metro Station in the Shakarpur area. It’s a very busy spot because of the hospital and the metro. We see people coming in at all hours, often looking a bit stressed because they’ve just come from an appointment or are visiting someone. We try to help them find what they need without making things more difficult than they already are. The shop isn't huge, but we pack a lot onto the shelves. We’ve got everything from basic first aid to more specific prescriptions. Being right in the hospital building means we have to stay on top of things. We don't have a corporate office somewhere else; this is it. It’s me and a few others behind the counter. We know a lot of the doctors and nurses who walk by every day. Sometimes it gets really crowded in the morning, and we have to move fast to keep the line moving. We don't use any fancy sales tactics or marketing tricks. We just look at the script, find the box, and explain how to take it if they ask. Shakarpur is a lively neighborhood and we feel like a part of the daily routine here. We just show up, open the shutters, and help the people who walk through the door, one person at a time.
