Sant Parmanand Hospital

Finding Sant Parmanand Hospital is pretty easy since we are right next to the Civil Line Metro Station on Samnath Marg. You can see the trains passing by from some of the upper windows. It makes for a lot of foot traffic outside our front doors. Delhi is a crowded place, and this little pocket of Civil Lines is no exception. We get a lot of people who just hop off the metro and walk straight over. The lobby is usually a bit of a hub, with people checking in or waiting for their family members. We have a few benches outside where people sit when they need some fresh air, though the Delhi air isn't always that fresh. Our team is pretty used to the fast pace. We don't have a lot of time for sitting around. Usually, there is a patient needing a file or a doctor looking for a specific piece of equipment. We try to keep the hallways clear, but with deliveries coming in and out, it can be a bit of a maze sometimes. We don't try to pretend to be anything we aren't. We are a local hospital serving the people who live and work around the metro line. It’s a practical setup. The coffee machine in the corner breaks down about once a month, but we always find someone to kick it back into gear. It’s just how things go around here at number 18.
