If you ever walk down Ajmal Khan Road in Karol Bagh, you might have seen Roopak Stores at number 41434. It's a busy street with a lot going on all the time. We’ve been part of this area for quite some years. The shop is always full of items packed up and ready. We don't spend money on big glossy ads or anything. Most people find us because their parents or grandparents used to shop here. It's a bit of a legacy, I guess, but we don't think about it that way. We just show up and do the work. The shelves are packed tight because we try to keep a lot of variety for the folks who come in. Sometimes it’s hard to move around when it’s peak shopping hours, but everyone is patient. We have a few long-time employees who know exactly where everything is kept. Karol Bagh is a loud place, and our shop is no different. You can hear the traffic and the people outside all day long. We keep the place running from morning till night. It’s just how we operate. We don’t have a corporate office or anything fancy like that. It’s just the store and us. We focus on the daily tasks, making sure the stock is replenished and the floors are swept at the end of the shift.
