Gandhi Medicos

Gandhi Medicos is located on the first floor at 51 Rani Jhansi Road. Being on the first floor means we see a lot of the street action from a bit of a distance, but the noise of the traffic is always there. This road is one of those places in Delhi that never seems to go quiet. We have been working out of this space for quite some time now, and the stairs up to our place are a bit worn down from all the feet that have climbed them. Inside, it is a mix of old wooden shelves and newer plastic bins filled with medicines. We don't really have a lobby or a fancy waiting area; it is just a working chemist shop. We spend our hours filling orders and talking to people who come in looking for specific items. Sometimes we have to hunt through the back to find an older bottle or a specific brand, but we usually know exactly where things are. It is a bit of a maze, but it is our maze. The lighting is a bit dim in the corners, and the computer is older than we would like, but it still gets the job done. We just focus on keeping the shelves full so that when someone makes the trip to Rani Jhansi Road, we have what they need. It is noisy with the buses outside, but we are used to it by now and just keep moving through our daily tasks.
