Ram Niwas & Co

We have been here at 6 Main Bazar Paharganj for a long time now. If you walk down this street, you know how busy it gets with all the people and the rickshaws. Our shop isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where we keep our stock and talk to people who come in. Most mornings start with opening the shutters and cleaning up the dust from the road. It’s a lot of work just keeping things organized because space is tight in this part of Delhi. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Just a few desks and chairs where we sit and handle the day's business. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. The neighbors are good people, we all know each other around here. We deal with whatever comes our way, whether it's a big order or just someone asking for directions. It’s just how things are in Paharganj. You get used to the noise and the constant movement. We try to keep things simple and just do what needs to be done. There’s always some paperwork to finish or a delivery to check on. We’ve seen the market change over the years, but our spot stays pretty much the same. We just show up every day and do our bit for Ram Niwas & Co.
