We are right in the middle of the chaos at Main Bazar in Pahar Ganj, at number 1101/4. If you know Pahar Ganj, you know it is crowded, loud, and full of energy at every hour of the day and night. Svs Financial Services is a small office tucked into this busy street. We deal with a lot of numbers, forms, and paperwork for people who need help with their finances or getting loans. It is not a quiet or sterile bank environment like you see in the movies. We have people dropping in constantly, and the noise from the market outside never really stops. Our desks are covered in folders and we use old filing cabinets that have been here since the day we opened up. We do not use any big fancy words to explain how things work. We just sit down with whoever comes in and look at their situation to see what can be done. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to work by the light coming from the door, but we just keep going. The market is our home, and we like the fact that we can just step outside and get anything we need from the other shops nearby. We have seen this area change a lot over the years, but our little office stays pretty much the same. We just do the work, file the papers, and try to help the local traders and neighbors.
