My spot is tucked away in Tehseel Lane, right there at T 1E in the Tis Hazari area. If you know the lane, you know it’s always crowded and a bit tight. I’ve been working from this little corner for years. It’s nothing special to look at from the outside, just a door among many others. Inside, it’s mostly just me and the work I have to get through. I’ve gotten used to the way the light comes in at a certain angle in the afternoon. People find me because they know the address or someone told them where to look. I don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. That’s just not how I operate. I like the routine of coming in, setting things up, and staying until the work is done. Some days are longer than others, especially when there’s a lot of backlog. The lane outside is always full of energy, sometimes too much, but it keeps you awake. I’ve seen many people come and go from these offices over the years. I just keep doing my thing. It’s a simple setup. A chair, a desk, and whatever I’m working on at the moment. I don’t worry about making it look like a showroom. It’s a workplace, and it serves its purpose. If you’re ever walking down Tehseel Lane, you’ve probably passed by my door without even realizing it. I like the anonymity of it all. It works for me and how I like to get things done.
