Natholi Ram & Sons

We are located at 3715 on the ground floor along Roshanara Road. This is an old part of the city, and our shop has a lot of that character. Natholi Ram & Sons is a family name, and we try to keep things running the way they always have been. The space is a bit cramped because we have so much stock piled up. We have got shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, and sometimes you need a ladder just to find what you are looking for. The front door stays open most of the day to let in some air, and you can hear the constant noise from the street outside. It is a busy road with lots of people passing by. We do not have a website or a fancy computer system to track every little thing; we still do a lot of things by hand in our old ledgers. It works for us. Usually, there are a couple of us behind the counter waiting to help whoever walks in. We know many of our customers by name since they have been coming here for decades. Sometimes we sit on the wooden stools and have tea while waiting for the next delivery to arrive. It is not a shiny new store, and the paint is peeling a bit in the corners, but it is our place. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure everyone gets what they came for without any fuss.
