The Ocean

We are located at 17-18 on DB Gupta Road. It’s a busy spot, and there is always something happening right outside our front door. The Ocean isn’t some huge chain restaurant; it’s just our place where we handle our daily business. We’ve been here for a while now, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually far too busy to get around to that kind of thing. We deal with all kinds of people coming in and out throughout the day. Some are regulars we know by name, and others are just folks passing through the area who need something. We don’t have a big corporate manual or any strict rules like that. We just figure things out as we go along. If something breaks, we fix it ourselves. If a customer has a question, we do our best to answer it. It’s a simple way of running things, but it works for us. The noise from the traffic on the road can be a bit much in the afternoons, but you honestly get used to it after a few years of working here. We spend a lot of time just making sure the place is tidy and everything is where it should be. It’s hard work sometimes, standing on your feet for ten hours, but it’s what we do. We don’t make a big fuss about things. We just open up, do our work on DB Gupta Road, and close up when finished.
