If you walk down David Street in Darya Ganj, you will eventually see our shop. It is a bit of a tight squeeze around here because of all the traffic and the old buildings being so close together. We have been at 3834 for a long time. Mostly we just deal with various types of machinery and the parts that go with them. The place is usually full of metal pieces and boxes that haven't been opened yet. It isn't the cleanest shop you will ever see. There is usually a bit of oil on the floor or dust on the shelves, but we know where everything is kept. People come in looking for specific valves or pumps that they can't find in the newer markets. Darya Ganj has that old feeling where everyone is always in a hurry but also stops to talk for a bit. We spend a lot of our time looking through catalogs or checking the stock in the back room. Sometimes the light inside isn't very good, so we have to take things out to the street to get a better look. We don't do much advertising. People just know we are here because their fathers or uncles used to come to us. It is just a regular business. We open up in the morning, drink some tea, and wait to see what kind of mechanical problem someone brings in today. We just keep things moving.
