Azad Machine Tools

Anand Parbat is a busy industrial area in Delhi and that is where you will find us. Our shop is at M-27 on Gali No 9. It is a narrow street that stays packed with trucks and people moving heavy parts around all day. We have been working with machine tools here for quite a long time now. Most of our days are just about getting the orders sorted and making sure the machines are ready for whoever needs them. It gets very loud in this lane. There is often oil on the floor and the tea guy comes by twice a day to keep us going. We do not have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It is just a workshop and a small office space where we keep our books and some spare parts. People come in looking for specific bits for their lathes or drills. Sometimes they stay for a chat and sometimes they are in a real hurry to get back to their own shops. My father started this business a long time back and now we just keep it running. The weather in Delhi makes the shed quite hot during the summers but that is just how it is. We try to keep things organized but in a place like this something is always piling up in a corner. We are not a corporate setup. We just know our tools and the people in the neighborhood. (249 words)
