Loknayak Hospital

We are located on Nehru Marg, right by Delhi Gate in the Dariyaganj area. If you know that part of Daryaganj, you know how packed it gets. Our hospital is just as busy as the streets outside. It’s a large facility and we see a lot of patients every single day. The gates are usually crowded with people coming in from all parts of Delhi and even from outside the city. It’s a government place, so it’s got that specific feel—lots of signs, long counters, and people carrying folders of medical records. We try to help as many as we can, but the sheer numbers mean there is always a wait. The staff stays busy from the moment they clock in. It’s not a place for a quiet chat; everyone is moving fast. We have wards for all kinds of problems, and the doctors are usually surrounded by students and interns. The building is old and shows the wear and tear of thousands of people walking through it every week. We don't have fancy carpets or expensive art. It’s just rows of beds, medical equipment, and people trying to get better. It can be loud and a bit overwhelming if it’s your first time here. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing for the community. It is a very busy life here for everyone.
