Lok Nayak Hospital

Lok Nayak Hospital at C-38 Mirdard Lane is tucked away a bit, but people still find their way to us. The lane can get pretty cramped with cars and people, especially during the middle of the day. Our building isn't the newest one on the block, and you can see the wear on the walls and the floors. We try to keep it clean, but with so many people coming in and out of Mirdard Lane, it’s a constant battle. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of chairs and desks where we handle the daily intake. We don't have a big fancy lobby with plants. It’s more about getting the work done. The nurses are usually rushing around and the doctors have their hands full. We see a lot of the same faces from the neighborhood, which is nice. Sometimes the fans in the waiting area squeak a little, but they keep the air moving. We aren't a corporate chain or anything like that. We are just a hospital in a busy part of the city. We don't have a lot of time for fluff or long meetings. If someone is sick or hurt, they come in, and we see what’s going on. It’s plain and simple. We’ve been at C-38 for years and we know the rhythm of the place. It’s just our daily life here, doing what needs to be done.
