You can find us at 2 Jln Marg, which is a busy spot for a hospital like Lok Nayak Hospital. Being on such a main road means there is always noise from the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a while. The building is older and has that specific smell of floor cleaner and medicine that stays in your nose. We have a lot of departments and it can get confusing for visitors trying to find the right floor. Usually, there are people sitting on the benches outside waiting for their turn. It’s not a quiet place. We stay busy from early morning until very late at night. The staff here wears many hats, sometimes helping with directions while they are trying to carry files. We don't have fancy brochures or a big marketing team telling us what to say. We just show up, put on our coats, and start seeing the people who have been waiting. The elevators are a bit slow, so most of us just take the stairs to save time. It’s a lot of walking every day. At 2 Jln Marg, we see everyone from all walks of life. It’s just how a public hospital works. We do what we can with the space we have. It’s a tough job sometimes, but it’s the work we chose to do here in this part of the city.
